Mr Yasin graduated with honours from Cardiff University and completed specialist orthopaedic and spinal training in Manchester before undertaking an internationally recognised fellowship in complex spine surgery in Australia.
He currently serves as Divisional Medical Director for Tertiary Medicine and Critical Care at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust and is actively involved in patient safety, clinical governance and healthcare leadership.
His training includes advanced study at Harvard Business School in Value-Based Healthcare, alongside qualifications in leadership, management and business administration.

Mr Yasin has published extensively in spinal surgery, patient safety, healthcare economics and surgical outcomes. He is a member of leading professional organisations including the Scoliosis Research Society and British Association of Spine Surgeons.
